a fresh hop saison with loral
For Loral we used an old stock saison that spent time in neutral oak and then wet hopped with fresh Loral from Carpenter Ranches in the Yakima Valley before conditioning in cans and kegs. The result is a bright saison bursting with intense verdant notes of citron, pomelo, flowers, and herbs followed by a background of stone fruit from our yeast culture and finishing dry.
We chose Loral, this “supper noble hop”, for it’s spicy and herbal notes a kin to the German varieties we use and love making it a perfect complement to our yeast culture.
