Alexandra

Alexandra is a saison brewed with dried leaves from fireweed foraged from the Cascades. Fireweed is an opportunistic flower that shoots up in the spring and flowers in the the late summer. Light and bright, Alexandra has notes of green tea, herbs, lime and hay.

We fell in love with the ingredient fireweed when we did a collaboration in 2016 with Jester King Fair Voyage (we brought down foraged fireweed for the beer). Our friend and ethnobotanist, Alex, first introduced us to fireweed for it’s similarity to green tea and ability to sustainably harvest.

Brewed with malts from Skagit Valley Malting, hops from Crosby Farms and fermented with our house blend of wild and feral yeasts and bacterias. In the tradition for saisons, we recommend drinking this beer fresh.

Madame R. Galle

Inspired by saisons in the Wallonian region along the border of Belgium and France. Madame is a dry saison brewed with barley and wheat from Skagit Valley, setting a stage for our house yeast culture to thrive and produce notes of meyer lemon, apricots followed by a soft bitterness from German hops.

In the 1970's a mail-order begonia shop occupied the space that is now our tasting room. During demolition, we uncovered a mailbox containing correspondence with a nursery in Belgium inquiring about their order of Madame R. Galle begonias.

Jean-Michel

Jean-Michel is a blend of three, six and nine month old farmhouse ales aged in oak puncheons and dry hopped with the French hop Barbe Rouge from Crosby Farms. Jean-Michel has an indubitable wild berry bouquet and presents notes of strawberry pound cake and black currants.

Created with malts farmed in the Pacific Northwest and fermented with our house blend of wild and feral yeasts and bacteria.

This farmhouse ale takes it's name from Barbe Rouge (known commonly in the U.S. as Redbeard) a series of Belgian comic books published in France and created by writer Jean-Michel Charlier in 1959.
