Lakhi is our saison aged in Fast Penny Americano Barrels and refermented with a heavy hand of blueberries from Sidhu Farms in Puyallup, WA. This summer the fresh blueberries went though carbonic maceration in neutral oak, then transferred mature oak-aged beer from Fast Penny Americano barrels for a second fermentation. Fermented dry for six weeks, and bottle conditioned for four months in bottle. Lakhi expresses sweet yet savory notes from the berries and oak filled with robust flavors of blueberry compote, berry pie, baking spices. A perfect winter sipper to celebrate four years!
